Minnesota Family brings together what used to be scattered across WhatsApp groups and Facebook posts: where to find a plumber who speaks Arabic, when the next community event is, who is hiring, and which mosque is closest to you.
What you will find here
- Business directory — restaurants, grocers, doctors, lawyers, plumbers, contractors. Each listing has its own page: address, phone, opening hours, photos, and the languages the staff actually speak.
- Mosque directory — over ninety mosques and Islamic centres across Minnesota, with photos, addresses and contact numbers.
- Events — register in one step, with an automatic waiting list when the seats are gone.
- Jobs — openings posted by local businesses, and requests from people looking for work that only businesses can see.
- Offers — member-only coupons, redeemed with a QR code at the counter.
- Saved items — bookmark any business, mosque, offer or event and come back to it from your dashboard.
The platform speaks your language
Everything is in Arabic and English, and one tap at the top of the page switches between them. The whole layout flips right-to-left; this is not an English design with translated labels pasted on top.
For example: you need an electrician in Bloomington who speaks Arabic. Search "electrician", filter by city, and every result tells you which languages that business speaks.

- Browse the directory, or search for the service you need right now.
- Save whatever matters so you can find it again.
- If you run a business, add it to the directory for free.
This platform was built for the community, and every service on it is free for members.
