Community services are always free

Searching, applying for jobs, registering for events and claiming offers are all free for members. Revenue comes from businesses.

Everything a community member needs on this platform is free. Not free for now and paid later, and not free up to a limit before a subscription appears.

Always free for members

  • Searching the business directory and the mosque directory
  • Registering for events and joining waiting lists
  • Applying for jobs and uploading your CV
  • Claiming offers and coupons and redeeming them
  • Writing reviews, and saving anything you want to come back to
  • Creating a job-seeker profile that businesses can find

So where does the money come from

From businesses, and openly:

  • Paid subscriptions for businesses that want more room: more photos, more job posts, deeper statistics.
  • Featured placement in search results.
  • Advertising inside the platform.
  • Commission on some coupons, agreed with the business in advance.

What we will not do with that money

  • We will not sell your data. Not to an advertiser, not to a data broker, not to anyone.
  • We will not disguise an advert. Paid placement is labelled "Featured" or "Sponsored", because it holds its position by paying rather than by ranking.
  • We will not sell the verified badge. It is granted after a real check and cannot be bought.
  • We will not track you across the web. Our analytics store no IP address and no browser fingerprint; visits are counted with a daily fingerprint that changes every day, so today's visit cannot be tied to yesterday's.

For example: when you see a business at the top of a result list with a "Featured" label, you know exactly why it is there. When you see one with a "Verified" badge, you know somebody actually checked. The difference between the two is deliberate and spelled out.

Why this model

Businesses gain from being here, so businesses are the ones who pay. Somebody looking for a dentist who speaks their language, or a job, or the time of Eid prayer, should not meet a paywall on the way.
